swiss electromagnetics research & engineering centre

The swiss electromagnetics research and engineering centre (serec) is an interdisciplinary competence centre and network established at the ETH Zurich on 1 April 2007.

It is our attempt to consolidate research and development in the general area of electromagnetics across different domains (academia, government and industry) in Switzerland.

serec fosters and links the various research activities in this field, bridges the gap between the academic and industrial worlds, and contributes to teaching and learning on topics related to electromagnetics.

serec functions as a catalyst for new research initiatives on the national, European and international level, actively pursuing industrial and government support.
